Katie and Matt chose Sicily as the place to celebrate their love, exchanging vows at a historic countryside villa nestled in the lush hills of Pettineo. Surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, peaceful landscapes, and the untouched beauty of nature, they found the perfect setting for their wedding day.

Their ceremony was intimate, organic, and deeply spiritual—filled with love, positive energy, and heartfelt prayers. Every detail reflected who they are, from the handfasting ritual, where a rope symbolized the strength and unity of their bond, to the fragrant incense and the quiet moments of connection with nature and the people they love most.

Katie chose to walk down the aisle barefoot, joined by some of her guests, embracing the earth beneath her feet as a way of honoring Mother Earth, welcoming her energy, and receiving a meaningful blessing for the life she and Matt were beginning together.
